Camozzi Series 61 pneumatic cylinders combine ISO 15552 mounting dimensions with a clean aluminium-profile construction designed for industrial machinery and automated equipment. Integrated grooves in the cylinder profile allow magnetic position sensors to be installed neatly along the body, while adjustable pneumatic cushioning helps control piston deceleration at each end of the stroke.

Series 61 Specialist Versions

Low-Friction Pneumatic Cylinders

Series 61 low-friction pneumatic cylinders are intended for applications requiring reduced breakaway resistance and smoother movement. Camozzi specifies a minimum operating pressure of 0.1 bar for these versions.

Tandem Pneumatic Cylinders

Tandem Series 61 pneumatic cylinders combine cylinder sections to increase available thrust and traction force where a larger bore pneumatic cylinder may not suit the available installation space.

Low-Temperature Pneumatic Cylinders

Dedicated Series 61 configurations are available for low-temperature environments, including versions rated for -40°C and -50°C operation.

Series 61 G for Dusty Environments

Series 61 Sensor Integration

A permanent magnet incorporated into the piston enables non-contact piston-position detection. Sensor grooves are integrated into the aluminium profile so compatible switching elements can be installed directly along the pneumatic cylinder body.

This makes Series 61 particularly suitable for automated machinery where end-position confirmation or intermediate piston-position monitoring forms part of the machine control system.

Replacing an Existing Series 61 Pneumatic Cylinder

Series 61 follows ISO 15552 dimensional standards and accepts a wide range of standard mounting arrangements, including flange, foot and trunnion options. This makes the range particularly useful for replacement and machine-refurbishment work where an established ISO mounting envelope must be retained.

When replacing an existing pneumatic cylinder, the operating configuration and any specialist features should still be confirmed. A standard Series 61 pneumatic cylinder should not automatically replace a low-friction, tandem, low-temperature or contaminated-environment version simply because the external dimensions appear similar.
