Delivery and Shipping

Cylinder Warehouse delivers pneumatic cylinders and related products throughout the United Kingdom using established parcel, pallet and dedicated courier services.

Delivery availability, cost and estimated timing depend on the product, quantity, delivery location and whether the order is dispatched from Cylinder Warehouse, a UK supplier, a manufacturer or an overseas distribution centre.

Delivery charges

The applicable delivery charge is displayed during checkout where an online shipping rate is available.

Large, heavy, long-stroke, configured, imported or supplier-direct products may require an individual freight quotation. Cylinder Warehouse will contact the customer before the order proceeds if an additional charge or different delivery service is required.

Standard services are available to most mainland UK addresses.

Dispatch dates and delivery dates

A dispatch date is the date on which an order leaves Cylinder Warehouse, the manufacturer or the supplier. It is not the same as the date on which the carrier will deliver the goods.

Delivery dates and carrier arrival times are estimates unless a guaranteed service or fixed delivery commitment has been expressly confirmed in writing.

Independent couriers and delivery delays

Cylinder Warehouse uses independent parcel, pallet, freight and dedicated courier companies. Once collected, the physical transport of the goods is carried out by the appointed carrier.

Traffic, weather, vehicle breakdowns, network disruption, depot delays and other transport events can occur outside the direct operational control of Cylinder Warehouse.

Cylinder Warehouse remains the customer’s point of contact. We will investigate delayed, missing or damaged deliveries, liaise with the carrier and take all reasonable steps to bring the matter to a resolution as quickly as possible.

Express build and same-day delivery

Selected pneumatic cylinder ranges may qualify for an express build service. Where the cylinder is completed early enough and the destination is suitable, a dedicated same-day courier may also be available.

Express build, same-day dispatch and same-day delivery are separate services and are not confirmed until stated in writing.

Product availability and lead times

Orders may be supplied from UK stock, supplier stock, overseas stock, an express-build route or made-to-order production.

Partial deliveries

Where an order contains products with different lead times, Cylinder Warehouse may offer to dispatch available items separately.

Any additional delivery charge will be confirmed before a split shipment is arranged.

Supplier-direct deliveries

Some products may be delivered directly from the manufacturer, importer or approved supplier. Packaging, carrier labels and delivery documentation may therefore differ from orders dispatched from the Cylinder Warehouse facility.

Receiving the delivery

Check the quantity and external condition of the goods promptly after delivery.

Where packaging appears damaged, record the damage with the carrier where possible and take clear photographs before opening the parcel. Retain the packaging until the issue has been reviewed.

Missing, damaged or incorrect goods

Report shortages, transit damage or incorrect products promptly by contacting Sales@CylinderWarehouse.com.
