1. About these terms

These terms apply to goods and services supplied through Cylinder Warehouse, a trading brand operated by Roladex Industrial Ltd.

Roladex Industrial Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 16191318. Its registered office is Gethin House, 36 Bond Street, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England, CV11 4DA.

2. Business and consumer customers

The website primarily serves business and industrial customers. Some provisions distinguish between business customers and consumers.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Product information

Cylinder Warehouse takes reasonable care when presenting manufacturer part numbers, descriptions, specifications, images and availability information.

Manufacturer data can change without notice. Images may be representative where a manufacturer uses one image across several bore, stroke or configuration variants.

The manufacturer part number and confirmed specification take priority over a generic image.

4. Customer-selected part numbers

Where the customer supplies a manufacturer and exact part number without asking Cylinder Warehouse to verify suitability, the order will be processed against the part number provided.

The customer is responsible for confirming that the selected part number is suitable for the intended machine or application.

If Cylinder Warehouse supplies the exact manufacturer and part number ordered, an incorrect customer selection will not be treated as an incorrect supply by Cylinder Warehouse.

5. Suitability and technical assistance

Where Cylinder Warehouse is asked to assist with identification or replacement selection, the review will be based on the information provided by the customer and technical information reasonably available.

The customer must provide complete and accurate information, including application conditions that could affect selection.

Unless expressly agreed as a separate engineering service, the customer remains responsible for the final machine design, installation, guarding, risk assessment and safe use of the product.

6. Exact products

Unless an alternative has been proposed and authorised, the manufacturer and part number confirmed on the order acknowledgement will be supplied.

Cylinder Warehouse will not knowingly substitute an alternative manufacturer or materially different product without first notifying the customer.

7. Obsolete, discontinued and unavailable products

Where an original product is obsolete, discontinued or no longer commercially available, an alternative may be the only practical replacement route.

A proposed alternative will be identified by its actual manufacturer and part number. Known relevant dimensional or technical differences will be communicated before the order proceeds.

8. Alternative authorisation for business customers

Where a business customer has expressly authorised Cylinder Warehouse to proceed with a confirmed like-for-like alternative, Cylinder Warehouse will send written notification identifying the proposed alternative manufacturer and part number.

The customer will have 24 hours from the time of notification to raise a written objection. If no objection is received within that period, Cylinder Warehouse may proceed with the notified alternative under the customer’s prior authorisation.

Where no prior authorisation has been provided, the order will be held until the customer approves the proposed alternative.

For this process, a like-for-like alternative means a cylinder selected to provide substantially equivalent function and key operating characteristics based on the technical information available. It does not necessarily mean that every dimension, material, port, sensor, accessory or visual feature is identical.

9. Quotations

A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. If no period is stated, Cylinder Warehouse may withdraw or revise it before the order is accepted.

Quotations are based on the information available at the time and remain subject to stock, manufacturer acceptance, currency movement, transport costs and any required technical confirmation.

10. Orders and contract formation

An automated website email confirms receipt of an order. It does not necessarily mean that stock has been allocated, production has been accepted or the order has been finally accepted.

The contract is formed when Cylinder Warehouse issues an order acceptance, confirms dispatch or otherwise confirms that the order has been accepted for supply.

Cylinder Warehouse may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where there is a pricing error, product error, stock issue, export restriction, payment issue, suspected fraud or inability to supply on reasonable terms.

11. Prices and VAT

Prices are stated in the currency shown on the website or quotation.

UK VAT is added where applicable. Delivery, freight, customs, duties and other charges are additional unless expressly included.

12. Payment

Payment is required using the methods shown at checkout or stated on the quotation or invoice.

Approved credit-account customers must pay within the agreed account terms.

Cylinder Warehouse may withhold dispatch or production where payment, account approval or overdue balances remain outstanding.

13. Availability and lead times

Products may be supplied from UK stock, supplier stock, overseas stock, built-to-order production, made-to-order production or imported-to-order supply.

Lead times are estimates unless a fixed commitment has been expressly confirmed in writing.

Read Cylinder Availability and Lead Times.

14. Built-to-order, made-to-order and imported products

Products assembled, configured, manufactured, modified or imported specifically for an order may be subject to restricted cancellation and return rights.

Once production, configuration, procurement or international shipment has started, the order cannot normally be cancelled.

Any known restriction applying to the order will be communicated before acceptance where relevant.

15. Express build and same-day delivery

Express build, same-day dispatch and same-day delivery are separate services.

None of these services is confirmed until Cylinder Warehouse has checked the cylinder specification, component availability, production capacity, courier availability and delivery location and has issued written confirmation.

Quoted completion and arrival times remain estimates unless a fixed contractual commitment has been expressly agreed.

16. Delivery

Cylinder Warehouse uses independent parcel, pallet, freight and dedicated courier companies.

Once collected, the physical transport of the goods is performed by the appointed carrier. Delays can occur outside the direct operational control of Cylinder Warehouse.

Cylinder Warehouse remains the customer’s point of contact and will take reasonable steps to investigate and support delayed, missing or damaged shipments.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed as guaranteed in writing.

17. Business delivery delays

For business customers, time for delivery is not of the essence unless Cylinder Warehouse has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Subject to applicable law, Cylinder Warehouse is not liable to a business customer for indirect or consequential loss, loss of production, loss of profit, loss of contract or loss of business arising from a delivery delay.

18. Inspection and notification

Customers should inspect goods promptly after delivery and notify Cylinder Warehouse of visible damage, shortages or incorrect supply as soon as reasonably possible.

Business customers should provide notice within the period stated on the order documentation or, where no period is stated, within a reasonable time.

19. Returns

No product may be returned without written authorisation.

Correctly supplied built-to-order, made-to-order, configured, modified, imported, obsolete or supplier-direct products may be non-returnable.

Where a customer ordered the wrong exact part number and the ordered product was correctly supplied, return acceptance is subject to the manufacturer, supplier and product status.

Read the Returns Policy.

20. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods

Customers should contact Cylinder Warehouse with the order number, product reference, description of the issue and photographs where applicable.

Cylinder Warehouse will review the matter and provide appropriate instructions.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Installation and safety

Pneumatic cylinders and associated products must be installed, commissioned and maintained by competent persons.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the product is used within the manufacturer’s stated limits and that the machine has suitable guarding, isolation, control and risk-assessment measures.

22. Liability to business customers

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to the previous paragraph, Cylinder Warehouse’s total liability to a business customer arising from an order will not exceed the net price paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim, except where a different limit has been expressly agreed in writing.

23. Events outside reasonable control

Cylinder Warehouse is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including manufacturer shortages, factory shutdowns, industrial action, transport disruption, customs delay, natural events, war, sanctions, government action, cyber incidents or failure of essential services.

Cylinder Warehouse will take reasonable steps to communicate material delays and identify available options.

24. Intellectual property

Website content, design, text and original graphics are owned by or licensed to Roladex Industrial Ltd unless stated otherwise.

Manufacturer names, logos, product images and technical information remain the property of their respective owners.

25. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

26. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

For business customers, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Consumers retain any mandatory jurisdiction rights that apply to them.
