Cylinder Warehouse

Returns Policy

Cylinder Warehouse is the Dedicated Pneumatic Cylinder Warehouse, built for engineers, buyers and maintenance teams sourcing pneumatic cylinders by part number, brand, bore and stroke.

Search Focus Part number, brand, bore, stroke, series and cylinder type.

Do not return any product to Cylinder Warehouse without written return authorisation.

Return eligibility depends on the customer type, the reason for return, the condition of the product and whether it was stocked, specially sourced, imported, configured, built to order or made to order.

Incorrectly supplied, faulty or damaged products

Contact Cylinder Warehouse promptly if a product is faulty, damaged in transit, misdescribed or different from the manufacturer and part number confirmed on the order.

Provide the order number, product reference, description of the issue and clear photographs where applicable.

Cylinder Warehouse will review the issue and provide the appropriate return, replacement, repair or refund instructions.

Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Customer-selected part numbers

Where the customer supplies a manufacturer and exact part number without asking Cylinder Warehouse to verify suitability, the order is processed against the part number provided by the customer.

If Cylinder Warehouse supplies the exact product ordered, an incorrect customer selection is not an incorrect supply by Cylinder Warehouse.

Return eligibility will then depend on the product’s supply status and whether the manufacturer or supplier accepts a return.

Business customer returns

Business customers do not have an automatic right to return correctly supplied products unless this has been agreed in writing.

  • Unused and unfitted
  • Unmarked and undamaged
  • Complete with all components
  • In its original manufacturer packaging
  • Suitable for resale as new
  • Returned within the authorised period

Approved business returns may be subject to manufacturer, supplier, inspection, handling or restocking charges. The applicable charge will be confirmed before the return is authorised.

Special-order and non-returnable cylinders

  • Built to order
  • Made to order
  • Manufactured to a confirmed specification
  • Configured or assembled specifically for the order
  • Cut, modified or specially finished
  • Imported specifically for the order
  • Sourced from a manufacturer or supplier that does not accept returns
  • Obsolete or specially procured stock
  • Supplier-direct non-stock products

The relevant status and known return restriction will be communicated before the order is accepted where applicable.

Cancellation of built-to-order or made-to-order cylinders

Once production, configuration, assembly, modification or procurement has started, the order cannot normally be cancelled.

If cancellation is requested, Cylinder Warehouse will establish whether the manufacturer or supplier can stop the order and whether any costs have already been incurred.

Consumer cancellation rights

Consumers purchasing standard goods at a distance may have statutory cancellation rights. Where applicable, the customer must notify Cylinder Warehouse within the legal cancellation period and return the goods in accordance with the instructions provided.

Normal change-of-mind cancellation rights may not apply to goods made to the customer’s specification or clearly personalised. Faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods remain subject to statutory rights.

Return carriage

Unless the product is faulty, damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied, the customer is responsible for return carriage, suitable packaging and transit insurance.

International customers are also responsible for return customs documentation, duties, taxes, brokerage charges and any costs involved in returning or re-importing the goods unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Condition of returned goods

Used, fitted, contaminated, damaged, marked, incomplete or incorrectly packaged products cannot normally be accepted for return.

Do not write on or attach courier labels directly to manufacturer packaging.
