International delivery charges

International shipping is normally quoted individually. The charge depends on destination, parcel dimensions, total weight, required service and whether the order travels by parcel carrier, road freight, air freight or pallet service.

International stock and imported-to-order cylinders

Some products are held at overseas factories or distribution centres and are imported specifically for the customer’s order.

Estimated lead times can include manufacturer processing, export preparation, international transport, customs clearance and final delivery.

Imported-to-order products may have restricted cancellation and return rights. Any restriction applying to a specific order will be communicated before acceptance.

Export and customs documentation

Cylinder Warehouse will prepare the export documentation reasonably required for the shipment using the product and manufacturer information available.

  • Commercial invoice
  • Commodity code
  • Country of origin
  • Product description
  • Declared value
  • Package weight and dimensions

Some destinations or products may require additional information, licences, certificates or customer-provided import documentation.

Import duty, tax and clearance charges

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the customer is responsible for import duty, local VAT or sales tax, customs-clearance charges, brokerage fees and other destination-country charges.

These charges are not normally included within the product or international delivery price quoted by Cylinder Warehouse.

Customs and carrier delays

Customs authorities may inspect or hold international shipments. International delivery dates therefore remain estimates where customs, border processing or local-carrier movement is involved.

Cylinder Warehouse will provide available tracking information and reasonable support, but cannot directly control the time taken by customs authorities, brokers or destination-country carriers.

Country of origin

The country from which an order is dispatched is not necessarily the product’s country of origin.

Where available, origin information will be based on manufacturer or supplier documentation. Customers requiring preferential-origin evidence or a specific origin certificate must advise Cylinder Warehouse before ordering.

Restricted destinations and products

  • The destination is not supported by available carriers
  • Export restrictions or sanctions apply
  • The product requires a licence that cannot be obtained
  • The manufacturer prohibits sale into the destination
  • Delivery cannot be completed on commercially reasonable terms

International returns

Do not return an international order without written return authorisation.

Unless the product is faulty, damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied, international return carriage, insurance, customs documentation, duty recovery and associated costs are the customer’s responsibility.

See the Returns Policy.
